Introduction

Hey, I’m Seb. I’m a web designer from the UK.

I’ve been building websites for over 6 years and currently live in a place called Southampton with my wife, Adele and our cat, Shadow.

You might call me a freelancer, but I prefer the title of consultant. A freelancer is someone you contract to design and code a website, I do a lot more than that.

From the initial conversation to the day of launch, there’s one thing I’m trying to do, grow your business. My speciality is helping small to medium-sized businesses get more customers online, which I do that using design and code.

When I’m not working on client projects, I’m either writing over on my web design blog, Inspirational Pixels or finding new ways to bring more value to my clients at an affordable price.

What I Do

I look at it like this: Websites are merely tools. It’s the people who use them and the experiences they have while using them that matter the most.

That’s why creating websites which are centred around the customer, you might say “customer first design”, is essential to growing your business online.

In a basic sense, I solve common, and not so common, business problems using design and code.

If you’ve got questions, there’s a FAQ below to get you started. If you’d like to chat about a project, please send me an email to seb@sebkay.com or phone me on +44 (0)7568 331194.

Q

How much input will I have?

A

As much as you'd like. I really enjoy working with my clients, not against them like some web designers do. My process is built to incorporate you as a large part.

Q

What if I don't like the first design?

A

That's no problem at all. It happens rarely, but sometimes wires get crossed and things don't turn out as expected. I'm more than happy to work on the design until you're happy with it.
